Hello Again

Hello, hello. I'm not quite sure where to start, but if I wait too long to write something, I'll never write anything.

A week ago today, Cowboy H and I rolled out of bed at 3:15 am, left our house at 4:00 am, and landed in the PNW at 8:30 am. The only nice thing about this was getting to see the sun rise from the airplane, during which we sat with our noses smooshed against the window with our mouths open cause it was so beautiful.

Last Wednesday morning, we squeezed ourselves into the Desert Rose's King Ranch, hooked up the trailer, stuffed haybags and loaded up Little Lady. By that afternoon we had reached the California state line. Thursday evening we rolled in the desert stables. Later that night, we got our first puppy kisses in 4 days and man, were they slobbery!

Wait, hold on. I need to back track a bit. Sunday night as I was pre-heating my oven to bake a frozen pizza so I wouldn't have to do more dishes before my house-sitter came, it started pouring out white smoke. The smoke-alarm went off, the dogs started howling and my eyes started burning. Cowboy H didn't get home until almost 11 and decided to take the oven apart then. After determining that the smoke was caused by spilled stuff running down from the stove and burning in the oven, we put it back together, ate our fast food and finished packing. Our heads finally hit the sack about 1 am.

In the meantime, my desktop computer (which is 7 1/2 years old) has finally been maxed out and is barely functioning. Anybody else get that "Low virtual memory" warning or "Low disk space" warning? Hmmm, I get both of them. I mean, I could probably write a term paper on it, but I only write term papers when I'm really bored, and lately that hasn't been happening. Cowboy H has been trying to catch up on his homework and keeps taking his laptop with him everyday. Can you believe that?? So, all the progress I was making with my photos has screeched to a halt.

Saturday afternoon, my little Huey-Duey became a real dog, and ironically became less of a man at the same time. Poor guy's running around with a lampshade on, which Hank thinks is just another chew toy. Its really quite comical.

Photos of the PNW trip will be forthcoming. I might have to steal Cowboy H's laptop from him, but I will get them up sooner than later. It was so beautiful up there, I can't wait to share it.
