Peek-A-Boo Tuesday: Ch-ch-ch-changes

Today, I am opening the door to my soul and sharing a little secret that just recently came to be.

Typically, I do not talk about my job on this blog. I have introduced you to what it is I do, but I haven't really spoken about it since then. Thing is, my job is taking its toll on me and I am ready for a change.

So, I put a resume in with an equine vet who is looking for a tech. And I crossed my fingers.

I'm still crossing my fingers, but I haven't given up hope.

I am so ready for a change.

I'll let you know the outcome, whatever it may be.

  1. Will think good thoughts for you sweetie girl. Sometimes change is just what we need. I worked at one place for 10 yrs and another for 11, and I knew it was time to move on. My last job I loved and was not ready, but had to because the commute was to long. Now I am in a job that I don't like. It is hard work, which I am not opposed to, but in the year I have been there my body is falling apart. I think I need a change too! Good luck!

  2. Thank you for sharing your little secret! Sometimes I think the biggest hurdles in life require the willingness to take chances and step out of ones comfort zone. After all, who out there can deny there have been times when they have felt themselves in a rut?! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you as well. (Oh, and thank you so much for for sending the cow photo. I love it! I have decided black and white photography is my favorite way to capture photos. I hope I get the chance to thank you in person someday!!)

  3. Yes...keeping fingers crossed for you! Haven't you done that kind of job in the past??? Emergency clinic??? That should be helpful in getting your foot in the door. If it wasn't such a long commute you could work for Jesse's vet..."The Doc"!!!

  9. I hope it all works out for you! I know how it is being at a job for way too long, and being unhappy. When my company went bankrupt last year, it was a total blessing. I never realized it would lead me to my current job, a job I have always dreamed of. But it did, and I couldn't be happier!
I am wishing you the best!!
